Theragun percussion massage: how it works and what makes it unique

depth

The key to a truly deep muscle massage is precise amplitude, which is how far the device's arms or shaft extend and contract to reach the body and deliver each stroke. Theragun stands out with its 16mm amplitude, which is able to penetrate 60% deeper into muscles than the average massager.

Most low-amplitude, high-speed massagers will vibrate quickly and desensitize the skin. Theragun goes beyond mere vibrations and actually leaves the surface of the skin 40 times per second, allowing it to target localized areas of the body without allowing the brain to adapt to the stimulation.

Usage

Using Prime:
To launch Prime, on the button panel, press and hold the center button for 2 seconds.
Press the up (^) and down (v) arrows to switch between 5 preset speeds and adjust the speed.
Prime should be in vertical contact with the skin with the massage head. Only the massage head should be in contact with the area of ​​skin you are massaging, do not use the device at an angle that allows the striking arm of the device to make contact with the skin.
To turn off Prime, press and hold the center button on the button panel.

Connect accessories:
Align the attachment with the tip of the swivel arm and press to connect. To remove an accessory, hold the accessory, place one finger on each side of the plastic connector, and pull off the accessory.

Smart APP

Prime is a smart device with Bluetooth connectivity designed to pair seamlessly with the Therabody app.

When you download the app, you'll be walked through setup and shown how to pair your devices. Once paired with your device, the app can remotely adjust speed, activate presets, and provide real-time recommendations based on your usage.

Batteries and charging

Charging Prime:
1. With the device turned off, plug the power adapter into the Theragun Prime's charging port.
2. The LED battery indicator located below the 5 LED speed indicator bars will start flashing.
3. When all 3 LED lights of the LED battery indicator light up, charging is complete.

*Theragun Prime does not support wireless charging.
