For new customers, all Backbone USB-C products now have universal compatibility and are compatible with all USB-C phones, including Android and iPhone 15 devices.
For existing customers, your Backbone USB-C products will automatically receive updates through the Backbone app, enabling patent-pending universal compatibility. To update, connect your Backbone controller and launch the Backbone app on Android.
To confirm that you have the latest firmware version, you can check your firmware version in the Backbone application settings:
Backbone App > Menu > Settings > Controller Tab > Controller > Firmware
Universal compatibility requires firmware version 1.2.2 or newer.
Do I need an adapter?
