Theragun percussion massage: how it works and what makes it unique

depth

The key to a truly deep muscle massage is precise amplitude, which is how far the device's arms or shaft extend and contract to reach the body and deliver each stroke. Theragun stands out with its 16mm amplitude, which is able to penetrate 60% deeper into muscles than the average massager.

Usage

Steps to use Elite
1. To turn Elite on, press and hold the middle button firmly on the button panel for 2 seconds.
2. Press the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons on the button panel to increase or decrease the speed.
3. Press the left arrow (<) and right arrow (>) on the button panel to switch between Elite's preset treatments.
4. The Elite should be in vertical contact with the skin with the attachment. Only the device's attachments should be in contact with the skin or area you are treating. Do not use the device at an angle that causes the device's fighting arm to come into contact with your skin.
To turn off the Elite, firmly press and hold the middle button on the button panel until the device turns off.

Connect accessories:
Align the attachment with the tip of the swivel arm and push into the connection. To remove an accessory, hold the accessory with one finger on each side of the plastic connector. Pull the attachment off.

Smart APP

Elite is a smart device with Bluetooth connectivity designed to pair seamlessly with the Therabody app. When you download the app, you'll be taken through a step-by-step guide to set it up and learn how to pair your devices. Once paired with your device, the app can remotely adjust speed, launch guided treatment presets, and provide instant recommendations based on your usage. Elite's OLED screen supports your app experience by displaying current speed and power to help guide your treatment process.

Preset programs saved on the device:
Elite can store up to three preset programs locally. Each preset program is based on a unique combination of speed, time and power based on a guided wellness routine. This means each person’s device is unique to them and can be customized to their specific needs.

Batteries and charging

Charging Elite:
With the device turned off, plug the power adapter into the Elite's charging port.
The battery level will be displayed on the OLED screen, flashing until the battery is fully charged.
Charging is complete when the OLED screen displays 100% and the battery icon is full. Elite supports wireless charging function.

The Elite is compatible with all Gen 4 accessories and can be used with PRO, Prime or Mini, or explore our full selection to find the right accessories for you.
